  • Delivery of Parcels to Oakley Residents

    Tue 17 Dec 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

Yesterday, we continued the long tradition of delivering parcels to the older members of the Oakley community on behalf of the Oakley Charities.

Groups of children, accompanied by staff, helpers and Father Christmas himself sang Christmas carols and songs to the recipients around the village.  This is always such a lovely occasion bringing the youngest and oldest of the community together.

Special thanks to Viv Webb and Emma Mulcahy for your expert organisation skills, getting the right parcel to the right person in the right group, and to Jill Cherry and our four Santas for making the morning go so smoothly.

  • Travelling Panto - Jack and the Beanstalk

    Fri 13 Dec 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

Earlier today we welcomed actors from Mance Productions for our very own performance of Jack and the Beanstalk in the school hall.  The hall was filled with the sounds of screams of laughter and joy as the children enjoyed the hilarious production.

Huge thanks to the actors for making this such a memorable afternoon.

  • The Inn-Spectors - KS1 Christmas Production 2024

    Wed 11 Dec 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

Robins and Butterflies Classes put on such a wonderful show.  Both performances were well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by the children and audiences alike.

The generous donations of friends and families have paid for the costumes and licence purchased for which we are truly grateful.

Look out for a photograph in the Bucks Herald on the 18th December.

Special thanks to Mrs Hartland and Mrs Cochrane and their staff for their hard work and dedication in getting the children ready for the performances.
