  • Break the Rules Day

    Fri 17 May 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

Much fun was had at our first Break the Rules Day, a FOS fundraising initiative.  Carefully chosen rules were allowed to be broken for 50p each, such as wearing make up, tattoos, having crazy hair, bringing in a toy, juice instead of water, no uniform etc.  Our children really loved the day as you will see from the gorgeous photographs.  Thank you to our parents and carers for their support as always.

  • Oakley Shop Opening

    Fri 10 May 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

Children from our Robins and Owls Classes visited the newly opened Oakley shop this afternoon on its first full day of opening. Each child chose an ice lolly to enjoy in the sunshine.

They were so excited to visit the much anticipated shop and cafe and I am sure will be regular visitors with their families.

The children in Owls Class had a chance to see the tiles they had painted with local artist Adam Grout on the walls of the kitchen area which look so beautiful.

Please do support this wonderful addition to our village.

  • Mandarin Club

    Thu 02 May 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

This afternoon Miss Cecilia introduced our Mandarin Club members to both Chinese dumplings and chopsticks! The children did so well getting to grips with the chopsticks and thoroughly enjoyed the session.

  • Drumming Assembly

    Thu 02 May 2024 Iola Seaton-Reid

Phil Heard led a high energy drumming assembly this morning.  Our school drummers performed for the pupils and parents and by the end everyone was up on their feet.

Huge thanks to Phil for his tremendous support and we look forward to seeing the school drummers and Phil in his band, The Vibe, on stage at OakFest on 8th June.
