Oakley Church of England Combined School
Love, Honesty, Respect
We are committed to ensuring that every child at Oakley Combined School receives the best possible education and support. Access to healthy school meals plays an important role in helping children develop positive eating habits and stay focused and ready to learn.
You may be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) if you receive certain benefits, including Universal Credit. From September 2026, the Government is extending FSM eligibility to all children whose parent or carer receives Universal Credit, regardless of income level.
Registering for FSM may also bring additional Pupil Premium funding to Oakley Combined School. This funding is used to provide extra support for students, including additional teaching, targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities.
Important information
Even if your child currently receives Free School Meals, eligibility will not automatically continue from September 2026. You will need to complete a new application form so we can reassess eligibility for the 2026/27 academic year.
You only need to complete the form once. After submission, eligibility will be reviewed annually. If your circumstances change, or your child moves to another school, please inform the school or relevant local authority.
Any information you provide will be handled securely and used only for the purpose of assessing FSM eligibility and related support. It may also be shared with relevant council departments to help identify additional services and benefits you may be entitled to.
