• Visit by Thames Valley Police

  This morning we were visited by Sgnt Pavey and DC Pavey plus one of their colleagues from Thames Valley Police.  The children were fascinated by the police van and took turns sitting in the back. 

  Sgnt Pavey showed a collection of police headwear and answered the many questions the children had for him and his team.

  Before they left the sirens were sounded!

  Huge thanks to the Pavey family for arranging such an interesting and exciting visit.

  

• Thame Rotary Swimathon 2025

  Yesterday our swim team - The Oakley Orcas - did us proud by taking part in the annual Thame Rotary Swimathon.  Collectively they swam 86 lengths, that's 2.150 kilometres!  Thanks to the generosity of friends and our families our team has so far raised GBP425 which will be shared between Thame Rotary and Oakley School's pool.

  After their swim our team were presented with medals and posed for a photo with Thame Mayor, Andy Gilbert.

  Huge thanks to Louis, Alfie, Jacob, Allie and Jack for representing our school at this enjoyable event.
