Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is extra government money given to primary schools in England.

Free School Meal Changes in September 2026

The government expanded free school meal access for households receiving Universal Credit.

• Targeted FSM: For pupils in households with earned income under £7,400. The school receives pupil premium funding.

• Expanded FSM: For all other pupils in households receiving universal credit. These pupils get free school meals, but they do not generate Pupil Premium funding.
• Universal Infant Free School Meals: Continuing for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
