Oakley Church of England Combined School
Love, Honesty, Respect
We are excited to share with you a new initiative at Oakley School: our “Personal Development Passports” – also known as the “Passport to becoming a Mighty Oak.”
Each child will receive their passport when they start at Oakley C of E Combined School, and it will remain with them throughout their journey up to Year 6. These passports are closely linked to our school vision and values of Love, Honesty, and Respect and are designed to support children in developing essential life skills, wellbeing, and emotional awareness.
Inside the passport, your child will find a variety of activities and challenges that encourage wellbeing, emotional growth, engagement in well-rounded opportunities, and, most importantly, fun! Our teachers are thrilled to begin completing these activities with the children as the year progresses, helping each child grow into a confident, caring, and resilient “Mighty Oak.”
While the passports are staying in school, and children will be completing the activities during the school day, we warmly invite you to find out more by visiting our school website or next time you are in the school building looking at the information board in the corridor next to the playground.
