• Red Nose Day 2024

  Rothschild House did a tremendous job raising £445.00 for this year's Red Nose Day campaign.  This was achieved by selling almost 100 official red noses and children wore red to school in return for a small donations.  After school we held a cake sale selling a fantastic assortment of cakes and biscuits baked and donated by our wonderful families.

  Mrs Cochrane raised money by donating a pound each time a child made her laugh with a joke!

  Oakley Pre-School also helped towards our magnificent total with their own red mufti day.

• World Book Day 2024 - Author Visit

  Yesterday we welcomed ex Oakley pupils, Tess and Ruby back to Oakley School.  Tess shared her published children's book, Foosie, with each class and talked to our older pupils about the inspiration and process for writing and illustrating her book.
