Welcome to our Governors’ section

Welcome to Oakley Combined School governor pages. On this page you will find further information on our Governors and the role we play in school.  We act as a critical friend for the school and provide support and challenge to ensure the best possible outcomes are reached for all children who attend the school. 

We work with the Headteacher to set the strategic vision. We also oversee the financial performance of the school to make sure its money is well spent. All staff and governors work together with the common aim of providing a safe and vibrant learning environment in which all can reach their potential.

We are very proud of the school and remain committed to ensuring that children have a balanced, broad and stimulating experience during their time at Oakley.  As parents and carers, you are very much part of the whole school community and your opinions and comments are very valuable to us.
