Chequers

The Chequers House (blue) held a MacMillan 'Afternoon Tea' on 30th September.  They invited our families and friends from the village to join this lovely event which raised £129.17 for the charity.  Thank you to everyone who came along and to those who donated such a fabulous range of homemade cakes and biscuits.

Chequers will also be fundraising for The Blue Cross animal charity in the New Year.  The charity was chosen following a visit from the organisation.  The charity also fits well with the Farmvention initiative our children have been involved with.  Watch this space!
