I don't know about you but there are buttercups all over my garden! I love them so much that I insist Mr Morley mow around them, which he does! How lovely of him!
Anyway, I thought to myself that you may well have some buttercups in the garden (or, at least, have some growing very close to your house). What I would like you to do is some revision of what we did last year.
Do you remember that we picked flowers and looked for their reproductive parts? You did an amazing job and there are some great photographs in our Science scrapbook. However, it was the wrong time of year for buttercups (and buttercups are perfect for this activity). What I would like you to do is to find a buttercup, take it to pieces and then see which of the parts you can remember the names of. There is an information sheet attached to help you if you get stuck or so that you can check what you have remembered. Have fun!
